Aleph Music Labelnight // 30.04. HORST KRZBRG

Aera (LIVE // Aleph Music)
m50 (aka Area // Wave Music)
Eltron John (Pets Recordings)
Goldwill (Wandering // Aurum)

Once again it's time for another Aleph Music Labelnight at Horst Krzbrg – and a special anniversary as well: it is exactly one year since the first Party we did at this lovely place: time to celebrate!

AERA will present his brand new live-set for the very first time. Everybody who has heard him play already knows what he is capable off, but this new set will see him reach a new level for sure. Expect to hear some of his newest productions, mad improvisation as usual, as well as glimpses of the upcoming album „The Offseason Traveler“...yes folks, it's on the way.

Next up we have....AREA....aka M50 from Chicago. Confused yet? No worries - this is the deal: When he is producing his own music, he calls himself AREA, when he is playing other peoples music, M50 is the name. Apart from having just released an excellent Album on Francois K.'s Wave Music Imprint, he was also kind enough to donate a remix to the latest Aleph Music record (Aleph04 – The Remixes). His weekly radio show "etc radio" on WNUR Streetbeat will give you a good idea of what to expect sonically, and make sure to check out his frequently buzzing soundcloud as well.

Also on the list: ELTRON JOHN from Krakow. Heavily involved in the burgeoning polish scene, this Redbull Music Academy participant just came back from the Unsound Festival in New York, where he was booked alongside great artists such as Monolake, Biosphere or Actress. He is one of the most versatile, charismatic and technically skilled Djs we know, so make sure to show up and check him out for yourself.

As usual, the GOLDWILL guys (aka AERA and HNY BNG) will show some dedicated deepness. Word on the street is their new label AURUM is finally taking shape, so keep your eyes pealed and your pocket-money ready.

Aera - The Remixes (Aleph04) - Out Soon!

Aleph04 comes with three special reinterpretations of the labels first three eps.

Mano Le Tough is first in line. His remix of "Flowers On Fire" from Aleph01 takes the originals colorful and spaced out vibes
and puts them into a little more dancefloor friendly context, with a big 808 booming away and the swirls of the original synthline driving the track forward.
Mano has been a big supporter of the label right from the start and his releases on Permanent Vacation, Buzzin' Fly or Internasjonal have been turning heads quite a lot, so it's an honour to have him on board.

The second remix is by Wasted Gaze. This newcomer from Vilnius / Lithuania delivers an amazing version of "Port Hope", taken from Aleph02.
A powerful,  2Step / Garage inspired beat sets the pace, while glowing pads, a super deep bass and enigmatic vocals take care of the rest.
Watch this guy, his "Untitled States EP" on Partyzanai is one of the most intersting and exciting records in a long time.

The last track is a remix by Area aka M50 from Chicago, who, quite fittingly, took care of this spaced out take on "What's My Name Again?" from Aleph03.
This one is for the heads, a special gem that will work magic in the early morning hours. Area has just released a stunning album on Francois K's Wave Music and will be playing at the Aleph Music Labelnight in Horst Krzbrg / Berlin on 30.04.

As this is a remix ep, the layout and design has been reinterpreted by Skism of Lodown Magazine, who brought a fresh and stylish approach to the records look.

A1. Aera - Flowers On Fire (Mano Le Tough Remix)
B1. Aera - Port Hope (Wasted Gaze "Last Hope" Remix)
